i sewed one time

Back in 3rd grade i made this realistic depiction of a dragon mid-battle. Awesome yarn on awesome burlap. My mom got bummed on the sword and blood, saying it didn't need it. Contrarily, i will say that it definitely needs it. That's what happens in battle, unfortunately. ok, thanks. your pal, scottc.

That's the best, better than anything. I reckon your next thing should be no more paintings. Just awesome embroideries.

ya, your mom was totally wrong that time, the blood helps. he's getting totally stabbed and breating fire from the pain it must cause. what a tortured soul. did i spell tortured right? probably not.

There's a lot of art these days that tries to imitate children's art but often feels inauthentic or overly crude to me. Your stuff captures the joy of playing to me. When I look at it, it reminds me of happy childhood times playing with stuff or imagining big stuff.
